We worked hard to earn a sterling reputation. Now, 25 years later, we’re very protective of that reputation. We know that our business is about more than fine food. It’s about gracious service and unfailing attention to detail. Most of all, we’re in the business of having fun. Now let’s have some fun. Together.
Our team of experienced professionals bring culinary excellence to any location. Whether you’re hosting an intimate dinner or grand celebration, our dedicated team will help you make your event uniquely yours. “Can you copy my mother’s wedding cake? What if we want an ice rink in our warehouse? Can you serve dinner to fifty people? On a bus?” Ask a question or express a wish and the answer will, more than likely, be an enthusiastic, “Yes!” Since 1986 we’ve wowed grand dames, corporate giants and nervous brides.
Weddings are grand affairs, even if the budget isn’t. After reading our proposal, you’ll know exactly what to expect and what it’s going to cost. After two decades of
weddings, we still love what we do.
And it shows.
Since 1986 we’ve catered to the corporate world. We’re quite familiar with team building & understand the intricacies of RFP’s & DMC’s. We honor confidentiality & understand the importance of optics. We run our business like a business. Just like our corporate clients.
Corporate and winery events are great fun but nothing is as warm and cozy as our private parties. We have lots of ideas and we listen. Really well.
Weddings are grand affairs, even if the budget isn’t. From the fold of the napkin to the temperature of the champagne, we pay attention to details. After all, it’s the most important day of a bride’s life. And her daddy’s.
The planning process is serious work. And a great deal of fun. At our first meeting we’ll chat over coffee, listen to your ideas and share some of ours. A few days later you’ll receive a proposal that includes menu ideas, a rental inventory and a detailed accounting of expenses.
Finally, the world has grown up and the day has arrived when we’re free to marry. As a gay man, Kinyon gracefully walks the line between tradition and innovation, always remembering that it’s your wedding. Not his show.
Kinyon has been a respected caterer and restaurateur in wine country since 1986. He credits his creative ideas to his publisher father and his love of food to “granny” who instilled in him a zest for cooking and entertaining. Kinyon has a well-earned reputation for creative solutions to difficult situations. He’s the most creative caterer in wine country, and after 25 years, he still loves what he does, and he’s proud of his product and the folks that make it possible.
Marianne is a tenth generation cook. Originally from the east coast, she’s been in California for many years. She’s always happy and welcomes Kinyon every morning with, “Good morning, Sunshine.” He likes that. He likes her, too.
Gayle loves detail. She’s spent her entire career organizing her bosses and creating procedures that work. She’s Kinyon’s right-hand and finds the challenge of keeping him organized is a “piece of cake.” Gayle is the bright voice that answers the phone, places rental orders and creates contracts. She’s unflappable and one heck of a nice girl. Give her a call. You’ll agree.
We’re always looking for smart grown-ups who want to get paid to go to a party! Experienced or not, we’ll train you in our way of gracious service and show you the ins and outs of entertaining. You’ll work hard and have fun doing it. Experience isn’t necessary. A smile is. Get to know us by calling 707.255.3358.
